Auditions
General Auditions for the 2009-10 Season at the School of Theatre will be held on Sunday, August 23 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.
The School of Theatre at Florida State will hold general auditions on Sunday, August 23 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm in the Richard G. Fallon Theatre in the Fine Arts Building, on the corner of Copeland and Call Streets.
Each auditionee has 90 seconds in which to perform either contrasting monologues, or one monologue and approximately 16 bars worth of song. There will be no accompaniment, so please be prepared to sing acapella.
Auditions are open to the public and sign up sheets will be available in the main lobby of the Fine Arts Building, August 3rd. If you are not able to sign up prior to auditions, or if you have further questions, please send an e-mail request to fsugeneralauditions@gmail.com, and a confirmation e-mail will be returned. Unfortunately we cannot accept phone requests.
As the audition sheets fill up, additional times will be posted, so if the sheet is full, please check back. We will schedule the first block beginning at 10:00 am, and requests are confirmed on a first come, first serve basis.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled audition time in order to complete the necessary paperwork.
