Assistant Professor - BA (Performance)
The Florida State University School of Theatre invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Performance to begin August 2012. Candidate will coordinate and teach performance within the BA, provide vocal coaching for productions, and supervise graduate assistants teaching in BA performance courses. Course load includes two performance courses per semester plus a third course in secondary area of specialization.
Assistant Professor - BFA (Acting)
The Florida State University School of Theatre invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor appointment in Acting. Responsibilities will include teaching five to six courses per year in a curriculum combining acting, scene study and audition technique as well as a possible secondary focus.
Assistant Professor - Technical Production
Florida State University School of Theatre seeks a 9-month, tenure track, assistant professor in Technical Production beginning August 2012. Teach four or five undergraduate and graduate courses in such areas as stagecraft, drafting, AutoCAD, technical production, stage mechanics, scenery automation, and computer applications in technical production. Assist the MFA Technical Production Program Director with recruiting, mentoring, and supervising technical production graduate students.

Assistant or Associate Professor - MA/Ph.D.
The Florida State University School of Theatre invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor appointment in Theatre Studies. Responsibilities will include teaching theory, theatre and performance history, literature, and criticism. Opportunities may include Theatre Studies courses that employ secondary interests in performance and critical practice. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: contemporary theory; performance theory; history and historiography; early modern and/or modernist literature and practice.
