Marketing Manager
The FSU School of Theatre is seeking a full time Marketing Manager (Job ID 35006) with a Graphic Design background. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience or a high school diploma with six years of experience and demonstrated skills using Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator or comparable software. Experience with web design and the creation, editing and distribution of video through various media, is even better. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a team to collaborate throughout the creation process. As the Marketing Manager this position will oversee day-to-day functions of the marketing office while supervising and working alongside both undergraduate and graduate students in the creation of trade ads, special promotions, social media, and press releases, as well as the creation and tracking of the marketing budget. Major Professor in the MFA Theatre Management Program
The School of Theatre at Florida State University is seeking a creative and dynamic individual to serve as Major Professor for the MFA in Theatre Management. This is a recurring, full-time faculty position. As Major Professor, this position will serve as the major professor for the MFA in Theatre Management. This position is responsible for student recruitment, advising, and teaching courses in Theatre Management.
This position also serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the School of Theatre. This position will supervise the Marketing Manager and Marketing Office staff and oversee all marketing and communication efforts for the School. The Marketing Office is charged with the creation and development of a public profile for the School, to include media relations, promotion, advertising, branding, website and graphic design.
The successful candidate will possess a Masters in Theatre or Arts Administration and have demonstrated excellence in teaching, effective communication, organization, planning, leadership, marketing and public relations. Consistent success when handling multiple priorities under deadline pressure is expected. Additionally, the candidate is preferred to have five years of university level experience in the field of art and theatre management.
